Q: How much can ReelRover carry?

Q: How many conductor compartments are there?
A: The most common setup is a ReelRover 4+1 with four compartments for conductors, plus one free-spinning ground wire compartment.

Q: Is ReelRover motorized?
A: ReelRover is not motorized; however, it rolls surprisingly easily when pushed by one or two operators on flat surfaces. Forklift pockets allow ReelRover to be safely moved longer distances.

Q: Can ReelRover climb and descend ramps?
A: Yes, by shifting the gearbox into Drive, one operator can spin the wire compartment reel and ReelRover will climb up to a 10° ramp or incline. Similarly, with the ReelRover shifted into Drive, one person can safely move a loaded ReelRover down a 10° or less ramp or incline.

Q: Will ReelRover fit through a 36” door frame?
A: Yes.

Q: Will ReelRover fit on an elevator?
A: Yes.

Q: Can ReelRover roll up and over jobsite debris?
A: Yes, this is a key feature of ReelRover. Shifting the gearbox into drive, one operator can spin the wire compartment reel and ReelRover will roll up and over 2 x 4s and other jobsite debris. It can also roll across packed gravel.

Q: Does the reel come off the ReelRover?
A: No, the reel is permanently attached. ReelRover is loaded at the distributor, using standard take up equipment. At the pull site the operator rolls ReelRover into position, shifts the gear boxes into park, then it’s ready to pull.

Q: What are the dimensions of the ReelRover?
A: 60 inches long, 32 inches wide, 65 inches high, and an unloaded weight of 700 lbs. The ReelRover fits through finished doors, in elevators, and on most liftgates.

Q: How is ReelRover delivered?
A: When you order wire loaded on a ReelRover, the distributor will send the loaded ReelRover(s) to your jobsite on a liftgate truck. Empty ReelRovers will be picked up with a liftgate truck.

Q: How much does the ReelRover weigh?
A: 700 pounds when empty.
