Copper Scrap Return Program

Let us manage your copper scrap, and you’ll get more money per copper pound.

Steps:

1. Collect copper building wire scrap.
2. When your shipment is ready, contact your Cerrowire customer service representative at 800.523.3869. We will lock in the spot COMEX copper price as a base for the return transaction.
3. Ship the container freight prepaid to the location we provide to you.
4. After the yield has been verified by the scrap processor, Cerrowire will issue a credit memo good for future purchases at your previously locked-in COMEX copper price, minus a $0.35/lb. processing fee. This is a better price than you’ll find locally. The credit memo for future purchases will be issued 30-45 days after shipment.

Terms & Conditions:

• Available to our Cerrowire distribution partners with an established account.
• Send only copper building wire for recycling.
• Do not send any wire or cable containing aluminum, tin, armored coax, lead, fiberglass, or telephone wire.
• Do not send reels or packaging materials.
• Please contact Cerrowire if you need a scrap wire container.
• Contamination of the scrap copper wire by any of the materials listed above will result in an increase in the processing fee paid by the scrap producer.
