APPLICATIONS • For use in electrical distribution circuits not exceeding 600 volts phase to phase • Cables may be directly buried or installed in ducts • May be used in wet or dry locations at conductor temperatures not exceeding 90°C for normal operation, 130°C for emergency overloads and 250°C under short circuit conditions
CONDUCTORS • Hard drawn Class B stranded, compressed 1350 aluminum per ASTM B-231
CONDUCTOR INSULATION • Phase conductors: Black cross-linked polyethylene • Neutral conductor: Black crosslinked polyethylene with three continuous stripes of weather resistant yellow low density polyethylene extruded into the insulation 120° apart
ASSEMBLY • Phase conductors and neutral are twisted together with a left-hand lay not greater than 60 times the outside diameter of one phase conductor
INDUSTRY STANDARDS • ASTM B-230 • ASTM B-231 • ICEA S-105-692 • UL 854 Service Entrance Cables
SURFACE PRINT • Sample: 4/0 AWG AL XLPE USE-2 600V (UL)
