Flat | PVC Insulation | 600 Volts APPLICATIONS • For use within the well casing, supplying current to the submersible pump. • For use where the cable is not subject to repetitive handling caused by frequent servicing of the pump units. • Maximum conductor operating temperature of 75°C at voltages not exceeding 600 volts. • Minimum operating temperature is -25°C. CONDUCTORS • 7 wire stranded: Soft, uncoated copper per ASTM B-8 ASSEMBLY • The conductors, including the ground wire, are laid parallel and flat and are covered with a yellow PVC insulation rated 75°C (Type THW). The same compound is used to simultaneously form an interconnecting web between the conductors. • One conductor is marked with the surface markings as shown below and sequential footage markings in black. • One conductor is marked with red hash marks. • The grounding conductor is marked with a continuous green stripe with the words “FOR GROUNDING ONLY” included within the stripe. • On three conductor cables with ground, the fourth conductor is unmarked.
